Imaging new ways of being

This year’s conference explores themes that push the boundaries of traditional landscape design. By integrating ecological imperatives and cultural perspectives, the event highlights how our interactions with landscapes extend beyond aesthetics to encompass sustainable living and environmental stewardship.

Key topics include:

  • Shifting perceptions of landscapes through a critical lens inspired by John Berger’s Ways of Seeing.
  • Addressing the ecological challenges of the 21st century by prioritising sustainable design.
  • Exploring “ways of being” that redefine our connection to the environment and inspire innovative approaches.
